Try this Pumpkin Counting Activity with your little one this Fall. All you need is this printable and some candy pumpkins!
I love Fall: changing colors, cooler weather, cute home decor, treats, treats, oh and did I mention treats?
I enjoy pumpkin pie, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumkin waffles, and a plethora of other pumpkin flavored snacks and desserts. Basically, if it has pumkin in its title, I’ll eat it. And I can’t get over how cute it is to hear my little ones say, “punkin.”
Any other pumpkin-crazed fans out there?
I also have an obsession with the little candy pumpkins. It’s candy corn…only a thousand times better. Buuuut I can’t eat too many at once or I feel sick (go figure). So during the Fall season I have stashes of candy pumpkins laying around the house to munch on.
Pumpkin Counting Activity
I put them to good use with this Pumpkin Counting Activity. It encourages development of the following silks:
- Number recognition
- One-on-one correspondence
- Fine motor skills
And you get a yummy treat!

There are 2 pages; one in color, and one in black & white. I printed a black and white copy and colored it with colored pencils but you could color it using any medium. You can even let your little one color it himself/herself!
